Elon Musk will try to release the most powerful rocket in the world with its own sports car on top.

The Falcon Heavy launch vehicle for an American entrepreneur is designed to double the carrying capacity of any other vehicle.

But due to the historic high frequency of batting of maiden flight, risk is only a dummy.

Mr. Mask decided that this should be his old cesnar-red Roadster Tesla with a mannequin, suitable for the astronaut tied to the driver’s seat.

Space Oddity’s classic hit David Bowie will rocket on the radio, as the car enters an elliptical orbit that extends to the orbit of Mars around the Sun.

“[Roadster] will get about 400 million kilometers from Earth, and it will do 11 km / s,” he told reporters at a briefing on Monday. “We estimate that he will be in this orbit for several hundred million years, perhaps more than a billion years.”

Three cameras attached to the car will provide “epic views,” added Mr. Musk.

It is expected that thousands of spectators will arrive at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to witness the climb of the Falcon Heavy rocket, which may take place at 13:30 on the Eastern Standard Time (18:30 GMT).

Mr Muska Rocket Company, SpaceX, worked three hours to get a car on Tuesday. If technical failures lead to postponement, the second attempt will be made on Wednesday.

Falcon Heavy is, in essence, three of the Falcon 9 SpaceX ships flown along. But the three-level configuration required a number of specific changes, including the amplification of the central amplifier core.

The 27 Merlin missile-based engines must be capable of generating nearly 23,000 kilotonnes of thrust, which is more than double that of the world’s most advanced missile Delta IV Heavy, operated by the American rival, United Launch Alliance.

The 70-meter Falcon Heavy is designed for a maximum depth of 64 tons in the near-Earth orbit. It looks like five London two-story cosmodrome.

In fact, however, Heavy rarely asked to raise so much because SpaceX intends to launch missile launchers to Earth upon launch, and the fuel needed for this necessarily denies some results. But the huge crawl of the rocket opens up some exciting new opportunities. These include:

At the moment, Falcon Heavy has only a few orders for his manifesto.

Two of them are intended for large telecommunication satellites, which should be thrown into a geostationary orbit about 36,000 km above Earth.

“These satellites have more than six tons, knowing that the missile’s power is eight tonne in a geostationary orbit (GTO) – if it is fully reused,” said Rachel Villeneu with the leading space consulting company Euroconsult, BBC News reported.

“Thus, it is obvious that the goal should be to fully use the rocket, otherwise the ability to GTO is 20 tons, which is very much to fill.”

Assuming it works, Falcon Heavy raises some of the acute problems for US space policy.

While NASA, of course, can find many applications for additional capabilities, it has its own “rocket-monster” in development.

The riddle for the agency and lawmakers in Washington, DC, is that this space launch system is known to be still in the distance of several years from the entry into the system (with a configuration of 70 tonnes in the LEO); but moreover – it’s likely to cost about $ 1 billion per flight. Mr Mask says his Falcon Heavy will cost just $ 90 million per flight.

Many commentators are already asking how Congress can justify significant additional costs for the SLS when it becomes more affordable and much cheaper.

And Mr. Mask is not the only entrepreneur who is developing a commercial solution for a heavy lift, which promises to sharply blow up the SLS at a cost.

Jeff Bezos, head of Amazon.com, is working on a rocket, which he calls “New Glenn”, which would have to put 45 tons in the near-Earth orbit. He even teased something even more powerful, called New Armstrong.

Mr. Mask emphasizes the difficulty in getting Falcon Heavy for his first walk.
