This sculpture was created by order of State Street Global Advisors. Its author is an artist Kirsten Vizbal from Uruguay. According to the customer’s idea, the statue should embody the future, where the rights of women will not be violated.
The city authorities wanted to remove the “Fearless girl”, but then changed their mind. According to the Mayor of New York, this sculpture symbolizes the fight against fear, opposition to superior force and the desire to steadily go to the goal.
