Additional fees are gradually introduced in the ATMs of Ukraine. Ukrainian banks periodically expand the list of paid services for the users of their ATMs. For example, some financial institutions introduce an additional fee for the change of the PIN-code. Also, the viewing of the balance on the ATM screen will become paid. Moreover, the client will have to pay the incorrect execution of transactions (the introduction of the wrong PIN-code will cost about 50 kopecks).

The representatives of the banks say that any operation which is performed on the customer’s card has a cost price. And the financial institution wants to compensate this money.

According to the expert estimates, the additional fees will cost Ukrainian people from 1 to 5 hryvnias.

This situation is not new in the Ukrainian banking sector but nowadays this tendency spreads rapidly.
