A powerful storm “Doris” has fallen on the British Isles. More than 77 flights were canceled at Heathrow. The experts warn about the further deterioration of the weather. Flooding is also possible in some parts of the country.
The meteorologists consider that “Doris” will bring snow to Scotland. The approximate thickness of precipitation – 10-15 cm.
The railroad also runs in a special mode. The speed limit for trains was introduced.
On major highways, large congestion was formed due to snowfall.
The experts believe that the situation may improve in the afternoon. The wind will die down, but it will be raining a few days.
