Adolf Hitler’s telephone was sold at auction, which took place in the United States of America. According to the experts, it is this device was used by the head of Germany during World War II. On this phone, the name of the Nazi leader is engraved.
The starting price at the auction was 100 thousand dollars. The ultimate cost of the phone – 240 thousand dollars. The name of the buyer of the exhibit remains unknown.
The telephone was found in Berlin back in 1945. It was discovered by the Soviet soldiers in Hitler’s bunker. The soldiers presented this exhibit to the officer from the United Kingdom as a souvenir.
Besides, the statue of sheepdog made of porcelain was sold at the auction. This item also belonged to Hitler. The lot was bought for $ 24 300.
