We often want to eat something between main food intakes. It is very important to make snacking useful.
If your hand reaches for the cookies or cakes, stop and choose something less caloric, but more useful.
Vegetables. For snacking, you can use any fresh vegetables which do not need a heat treatment. For example, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage leaves.
Fruits. These products are both useful and tasty. Apples, pears, peaches, plums, apricots, bananas… Choose those fruits you like most.
Dairy products. Various yoghurt and cheese can perfectly satisfy your hunger. Pay attention to the amount of sugar in these products. If you think that they are too high-calorie, drink a glass of non-fat yogurt.
Dried fruits. Dried apricots or plums will be a perfect snack for you. These products contain useful minerals.
Nuts. You can easily satisfy your hunger by a handful of hazelnuts, peanuts or cashews. But do not abuse this product, because it is quite caloric.
If you eat a balanced food throughout the day, you will not face the evening or night overeating. As a result, your weight will be normal.
