Tiredness from the work officially recognized a disease in Belgium. It is also called a professional burnout. According to statistical data, more than ten thousand people a year go to the medical institutions with similar complaints.

Belgian Health Minister Maggie De Block promised to take measures aimed at reducing the number of people suffering from burnout at work.

Last year, more than eight thousand Belgians took time off or leave. It was connected with a chronic fatigue from the labor activity. It is remarkable that almost half a thousand of them were free employees (freelancers).

A condition of the professional burnout has a negative impact on a productivity and well-being of people.

The journalists believe that the recognition of burnout a disease will increase the number of funds to visit the doctors by 70%. Insurance companies will be forced to compensate these costs.
