An International Literary Festival will bring together the writers from Poland and Ukraine in the capital of the Netherlands. This event will take place on the 6th of October. Oksana Zabuzhko, Andrey Kurkov, Victoria Amelina and Andrei Lyubka will represent Ukraine.

The representatives of Poland are Mariusz Schigel, Ziemowit Scherek, Chead Brunia and the other ambassadors of the literary world.

Every year the literary figures from different countries participate at the Festival. Before the beginning of this event, the curators of the chosen regions arrive in Amsterdam to discuss all the details of the upcoming holiday. Irina Vikarchuk, a founder of the International Festival “Intermezzo” oversees this question in Ukraine. A Polish curator is Grzegorz Jankovich.

The program of the upcoming Literary Festival consists of various discussions, poetry marathons. Ukrainian writers will read their compositions and they also will present Ukrainian films for the Dutch audience.
