About 100 thousand inhabitants of United States of America have filed a collective lawsuit on the automobile company of Audi. Owners of the cars of this brand accuse the representatives of the corporation in the illegal installation of the software, which improves the environmental indicators of exhausts. During car testing, carbon dioxide level was too low compared to the real coefficient.

The lawsuit was filed by the law firm Hagens Berman in a federal court in Chicago on 9 November.

The plaintiffs consider that automobile company Volkswagen Group has established software on all the cars  of 2013 manufacture. Moreover, they suggest that managers of Audi still encourage the installation of illegitimate software.

The representatives of Audi car company refused to comment on the situation.

This is not the first proceeding with the participation of German car manufacturer. At the beginning of 2016, the US Department of Justice had filed a lawsuit against an autoconcern of Volkswagen. American government blames the corporation leaders in violation of the law, which is called “Clean Air Act”.
